At Camp Gailor-Maxon, campers enjoy games, crafts, songs, sports, programs, worship and general silliness during the day. Our programming focuses on helping kids explore their faith and experience living in their own Christian community.
Afternoon activities include hikes in the nearby South Cumberland State Park, Swimming, Rappelling, Water Games, Drama, Music, Arts & Crafts, Field Games, Off-Campus trips to the University of the South at Sewanee, and a Day of Service, in which campers choose a service project to do. Evening activities may include: Bonfire, Trip to All Saints’ Chapel-Sewanee, Carnival / Dance, Counselor Hunt, Capture the Flag, Field Games, CGM Olympics, or Night Swim.
