Become a Staff Counselor for CGM 2019
Our counselors are THE most important ingredient to a successful CGM recipe. You’re on the flip side now — no longer being lead, you’re now a leader. Acting as both friend and role model, you are the person who gets to pass on the traditions (and tales) of Camp Gailor-Maxon. Don’t try to tell us differently… we know that all the best stories start with, “This one time, at Camp…”
So why be a counselor? Because Camp = Family. The moments that you’ll share while hiking a mountain or doubling down on banquet decoration leads to a one-of-a-kind bond between counselors. The impact you’ll make on the kids… even more special. You will discover that summer is measured not by dates on the calendar, but by the number of times the CGM Cheer rings out over the DuBose grounds each morning. It’s counted by the number of high fives that you give out during relays... It’s counted down by the number of times you lead that bittersweet song, “Old Country Roads”.
They say that not all heroes wear capes. Well, when June ends this year, your "superhero" wardrobe is going to have one more not-cape hanging on the rack... this one’s going to say "CGM".
